WELCOME TO THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ASICS BRITISH 10K LONDON RUN!
2010 marks the tenth anniversary of the nation's favourite London 10K road race, the ASICS British 10K London Run. FSID, the cot death charity, is thrilled to be the official charity for this year's race and would love you to join their running team.
Over the years the race has played host to some of the world's greatest athletes and raised millions of pounds for hundreds of charities and good causes through the efforts of runners from all walks of life raising sponsorship to run the race.
The race route is undoubtedly the most historic and sporting 10K route in the UK, running through the heart of historic London, passing many of London's world famous and iconic sights. These include: Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner; St. James's Palace; Trafalgar Square; the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral; the unique London Eye; Big Ben; the Houses Of Parliament and historic Westminster Abbey before finishing on Whitehall, just past the entrance of 10 Downing Street.
