Get your adrenaline pumping and put your strength, fitness and determination to the test by taking part in Battle of the Knights, a 5k race with obstacle challenge.
Join us for the sequel to the event's successful predecessor which took place in early 2017, raising more than £14,000 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Many of the course’s obstacles feature in Spartan Races and Tough Mudders so we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Your challenge will start with a 4km run followed by a 1km 25-strong obstacle course, which is challenging, enjoyable and achievable by all abilities. You can test how quick your feet are with a tyre run, your upper body strength with a 6ft wall climb, your grip with incline monkey bars and your coordination with a vertical cargo net climb – to name a few.
Sign up now to take advantage of the online discount: The first 200 sign-ups can register for £25, a £30 price is available until 15 February, and a full price of £35 from 16 February.
The race will be chip timed and those finishing in the top 10 per cent will be given the title of Knight and the chance to defend their honour at next year’s event free of charge.
New for 2018 are two junior races, for those aged 8-11 and 12-15. The children’s events will start with a 1km run followed by the obstacle course; youngsters can also complete the course in medieval-themed fancy dress if they wish.
One hundred percent of your entry fee will go to the hospice, which cares for those across the community coping with long-term and life-threatening illnesses. Any other fundraising you are able to do for us will help fund the vital care we provide.
