A new flatter, faster route has been announced for the 2011 Brighton Half Marathon, taking in many of Brighton's iconic sights. The race will be celebrating its 21st anniversary in 2011, starting and finishing on Madeira Drive, Brighton seafront. The timing of the Brighton Half Marathon means it is perfectly suited as a warm-up race for all the major spring marathons.
There are also two 1 mile youth races taking place for the 8-11 and 12-16 years age groups, giving young runners the chance to be time chipped and experience the crossing of a big finish line.
All the race info including registration can be found on click here .
The Brighton Half Marathon is organised by and the main fundraiser for the Sussex Beacon, one of only two care centres in the UK providing innovative services to meet the changing needs of people living with HIV.
