A classic point to point, 8 mile trail race, across the magnificent Brontë moors, that starts at Wycoller Country Park near Trawden GR 933393 (South Pennines Sheet) and finishes in the doorway of the Fleece Inn on the old cobbled street in Haworth. The course is drop dead gorgeous and entirely off-road. The hills and mud are frequent so off-road shoes are essential. This is a demanding course, even more so in poor weather, so be prepared.
Coach transport from Haworth to the Start is ONLY available if you pre-enter. Pre-entries MUST be received no later than September 30th. Miss this date and you will NOT get a place on the coach. Coach leaves Haworth (top of Rawdon Road) at 9:30am sharp. Kit will be brought back to the finish.
You can ENTER ON THE DAY but you’ll have to make your own way to Wycoller.
No race confirmation will be sent out to entrants, so please DON’T send SAEs.
Only park your car in official car parks at Wycoller - NOT in residents’ parking areas.
You MUST come prepared to run with the following kit: Waterproof cagoule and over-trousers, map of the race route, compass and whistle and ability to use them as. Spot checks WILL be made – don’t get disqualified! We want you to enjoy the race and stay safe.
