The Bupa Great Yorkshire Run returns to Sheffield city centre on Sunday 2 September, making it one of the first mass-participation sporting events to take place after the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Join 8,000 people for this great day of running, which not only includes the 10km, but also the Bupa Junior & Mini Great Yorkshire Run, suitable for children aged 3 and upwards.
The event celebrated its 5th staging in October 2011, with world-class athletes, celebrities and charity runners taking part in the event, which starts and finishes on Arundel Gate in the city centre. From there the route heads onto Penistone Road to Hillsborough Stadium and back, with live music from local Bands on the Run to keep runners motivated.
Entries for 2012, which include the Bupa Junior & Mini Great Yorkshire Run are available on a first come, first served basis at click here />
