Aspire Running Events are very pleased to announce the 3rd Kelston 10k(ish) event, which will be held on the morning of Sunday 7th January, 2018.
This event is sadly NOT Canicross friendly.

For the duration of this event we are thrilled to have secured the fantastic facilities of the superb pub - The Swan at Swineford. The Swan is a superb family friendly Country Pub, with an excellent choice of liquid refreshments and an amazing food menu.

We will be having staggered starts for this race, simply to ease congestion at the first kissing gate. Can you please choose your preferred wave during the online entries procedure (drop down menu)
Wave 1 – Early – 9:00am
Wave 2 – Middle – 9:05am
Wave 3 – Late – 9:10am
Wave 4 - Very Late - 9.15am

Registration will open at 8am and close at 8:50am. This will be held inside the Swan pub, where hot drinks will be available to purchase pre-race for runners/spectators alike. The pub will also be open post race for Bacon butties – Everyone’s favourite!
Course description: Hilly/Undulating – 1 loop.
*Important course information* Please note we have had to make changes to the route this year for reasons beyond our control.
Route: This is a challenging multi terrain route that will see you transverse through extensive woodland, scenic trails, permissive footpaths and open fields. Whilst primarily running along the beautiful plus scenic Cotswold Way.
The start and finish will be held in the field opposite the Swineford Picnic Area car park.
The route will be fully marked out with eco – friendly washable paint arrows, orange marker flags and multi directional run route signs where required.
All finishers will receive a medal.
This race will be timed.

First Aid will be in attendance and will be placed at suitable positions throughout the course.
The whole route will be marshalled by our amazing friends at North Bristol Running Group.
There will be a suitably placed half way point water/feed station.
The finishers table will be laden with our usual treats and fruit.
There will be free parking available on the day, however this is limited so please do consider car sharing for this event.
