This will be the tenth year using the new Dry Hill course which has received much favourable comment. The race starts from the Young Epilepsy (NCYPE) school with excellent runner and supporter facilities. The course covers a variety of terrains with a tarmac start, off road paths and trails, and prepared horse trails. The Dry Hill 10 (DH10) is organised by Lingfield Running club and after costs, all proceeds from the race and cake sales will go to charity. This year, we are supporting the Jigsaw South East ---- Jigsaw (South East) supports bereaved children, young people and their families and also those affected by a family member having a terminal diagnosis throughout Surrey, Sussex and surrounding areas. ONLINE ADVANCE ENTRIES CLOSE SATURDAY THE 2nd OF SEPTEMBER - ENTRIES ON THE DAY IF AVAILABLE AT THE RACE INFO DESK. Numbers to be collected from Race Info Desk at the start on race day £100 course record (10 mile) Men(57:00) Women (59:34) First 3 Team finishers qualify for Team prize.
2 hours & 15 minutes Time Limit Notice!
Please Note:In order for the DH10 to go ahead, we need to ensure all runners complete the course within 2:15, therefore any runner who arrives at the 6.5 mile checkpoint after 1:30 will be directed straight back to the finish (see DH10 website for DH10 map and further details).
Should the runner decide to continue, the runner is advised that all marshals and support personnel will be stood down once the 2:15 finish race time limit has been reached and on a pro-rata basis for preceding checkpoints, eg @ 1:30 at the 6.5 mile checkpoint. Runnings continuing do so entirely at their own risk.
No results will be provided for any runner finishing outside the stipulated time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
