The Maidenhead Easter 10 is a fairly flat, fast and rural course and will once again incorporate the Berkshire Road Running 10 Mile Championship. Last year’s runABC South report on the race commented: “The race is a traditional event on a 10-mile route through country lanes and cycle tracks. Maidenhead 10 has always been a good quality race and this year was no exception as precisely 50 runners ducked under 60-minutes.” Chip timing and PB potential make this a “Good Friday essential” according to one of the 5 star reviewers on our Facebook Page.
Entry costs £20 for England Athletics-affiliated runners, £22 for unaffiliated. Payment can be by credit/debit card, Paypal or bank transfer. Entry on the day will be possible for £5 extra.
Popular 10 mile race with Championship timing on Good Friday. This year sees the 65th running of the event over a flat and rural 10 mile course. Please refer to our club website for more details about the race, including a course map.
Awards/mementos: Medal, Winners' prizes.
Venue facilities: Changing, Toilets, Onsite parking, Refreshments, Massage, Sports Shop and Unsupervised Bag Store.
If you’re wondering what to do with your children on Good Friday… bring them along and get the children actively involved in the day! Whether they are raring to compete with siblings or friends or just in it for the chocolate, all are welcome for these fun children’s races. We have two distances for children on the race programme alongside the adults’ 10 miles race.

All finishers will get a medal and an Easter Egg! There will be prizes for winners in each race too. Children will have their own number and finish times will be published.
Don’t worry if your little ones need a little extra encouragement, parents are welcome to run alongside younger children and there is no need to register yourself to do this! The entire length of the course is accessible for spectators as well as being safe and away from any traffic entering the carparks. The start & finish of both races is by the Finish Line of the main 10 mile race.
Entry is £6 per child in advance. Places are limited but should there be space, there will be entries on the day too.
Race packs and late entries (if available) are collected from the Race Village (follow the signposts on the day).
