Gade Valley Harriers has been running this successful training-run series for the London Marathon for several years, giving an opportunity to train for FLM in the company of other runners, with full marshaling and refreshments at the end. Runners of all abilities are welcomed. This is a training run. No timings or prizes will be given.
The route starts with three miles on the towpath of the Grand Union Canal, followed by a section on country lanes through Ashridge Forest, and finishes with a one-mile canal section. The terrain is undulating (some big hills!). Roving marshals will be available to pick up anyone unable to complete the course. Facilities are limited, so please come ready to run.
Muffin or pasty for all finishers
Limited changing and toilets available at venue
Tea and cakes after the run.
