Starting from the top of Box Hill at 8am. Voted best race in Britain in 2008. A half marathon on trails, incorporating at least 3000 feet of ascent - the height of a Scottish Munro. The route takes in ten tough ascents, and ten tough descents. There are pleasant views, but you won't be able to see much of them because of the sweat stinging your eyes. Enter by 29 May to get your name on the t-shirt. Final race fee includes Runner's World entry processing fee, increased license fees from National Trust, medal, t-shirt, momento, picnic and fees for medical services (which you might need).
Online entry only: Strictly no entries on the day.
