YMCA North London’s annual Adult 10k and Children’s fun runs has evolved since 1991 into one of the largest community events in North London, continuing to grow in popularity and attendance year on year.
It is one of the largest community events in North London, a diary must for many. Over 3,500 adults and children enter the 10 fun runs - an adult 10k event, and 9 children's fun runs - and over 5,000 people in Priory Park enjoy the day-long festival of music and entertainment.
This is our flagship fundraising event, which enables us to celebrate the work we do in the community.
Fundraising is optional, however our aim is to raise funds to enable members of our community to thrive. This allows us to provide much needed services for some of society’s most vulnerable groups, especially young people, through our housing, childcare and health and well-being services. Firstly providing them with stability and support, then enabling them to achieve their goals of independence, health and well-being.
We also provide youth & fitness programmes, out of school care & children's activities.
