Course description: Flat (with a few steps to negotiate!) and will be suitable for all standards of runner.
Route: A stunning multi terrain course that will be held on traffic free Railway Path and the trails of both the River Avon and the Monarch’s Way.
The 11k begins on the Bristol to Bath Railway Path before branching off to take in some absolutely stunning off road trails. When you get back to the Railway Path you will turn right and do a 2nd loop of this off road section before finally taking a left for the final stretch on the Railway Path to the finish. All this whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Avon Valley, with amazing views of the Bath Skyline.
The 6k will take in exactly the same course as above but will not take in the 2nd loop of the off road course and will go immediately left on the Railway Path to the finish.
All participants will receive a medal for finishing.
The event will be timed.
There will be 6k trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall male and female.
There will be a suitably placed water station for all runners to access along the course and the finishers table will be laden with our usual fruit, cakes and treats.
This event will be fully marshalled and First Aid will be on standby throughout the event.
