This is a fast and fun summer 10k in a fantastic location by the River Thames near Richmond Park. It is run totally on tarmac so a great opportunity for a PB on the flat, two-lap course run part on local roads and part on the Thames Towpath. A large portion of the race takes place along the scenic riverside with the chance to enjoy the view of the river, trees, Teddington Lock and Ham House. The race will also serve as the Surrey 10K Championship.
The start and finish are located very near to the race HQ in Ham, not far from Richmond. Toilets and changing facilities will be provided. There is chip timing and a great memento for all finishers. Entry fee has remained very competitive at £16 or £14 for England Athletics members.
There will be prizes for leading runners in various age groups and teams.
