On October 6, 2012, we invite you to put on your running shoes and put your foot down on child sex slavery and exploitation.
We have places for just 300 participants, of all levels of fitness, to run/jog/walk 14.6 KM across wild and beautiful Richmond Park, London.
The Mission: To raise £146,000 to fund the ongoing work of click here.
Run it, walk it… you can even stroll it! It doesn’t matter how you do it… just do it with LOVE!
When and where?
10am Saturday October 6, 2012, Richmond Park, Surrey, UK
How difficult is the course?
The 14.6 kilometre perimeter trail reaches all corners of wild and beautiful Richmond Park. The hard-pack sandy/stoney surface is good to run on and with such stunning scenery to distract you, you’ll barely notice the occasional climb and incline.
I’m not a runner. Can I still participate?
Of course you can. You can jog, walk, even stroll the course. If you walk at a steady pace, it will take you approximately 2.5 hours to complete the circuit.
What are the aims of the London RUN FOR LOVE?
Raise £146,000 for Love146. Raise awareness in the UK about the issue of child sex slavery and exploitation and the work of Love146. Honour victims and survivors by making a powerful stand for abolition.
At the start line, our runners will champion the new abolition movement to end child sex slavery and exploitation by reading the Love146 Runner’s Pledge in unison:
I stand for a world society, which nurtures, honours and respects all children.
I stand for a world society where every child is free.
I stand for a world society where child sex slavery and exploitation is history.
Today, I run, to show the world what I stand for.
