The popular Rye Summer Classic series returns for an eighth year.
The first race in the three-race Friday night series on this super-fast, traffic-free road course is through Rye Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour in East Sussex. The course is flat and low-lying and partly runs adjacent to the shingle storm ridges on the coastal road. Would suit runners of all standards including beginners. Points scored in each race count towards overall Series prizes (first 100 male and female finishers in each race score points). Medal to all finishers. The race is raising funds for local community organisations including the Rye Nature Reserve. A great summer family night out - and the lovely town of Rye beckons for weekenders!
Race features elctronic timing.
Finish Line goodies and medals to all finishers.
New for 2013 - two 10k's and one 5k race this year plus an earlier start for the series with the first race in early July and a final (5k) in August.
Supervised bag storage
