When he was 16, according to legend, Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. St Patrick's Day is celebrated on 17th March each year. This is a scenic, fast and flat route great for PBs. Parking, toilets & facilities very close by; choose your distance (5k, 10km or half marathon). Bespoke medal & special St Paddy beer for all finishers. Fancy dress optional (but strongly encouraged!). Friendly marshals, cake & candy at the refreshment points and finish line. What's not to love? Entries strictly limited - book now to secure your place.
Afterwards you can head off to Meadowhall to grab yourself a bargain, or enjoy lunch at Meadowhall. It’s time to dust off your running shoes, earn some serious LUCK, and sign up for this amazing event on Sunday 17th March 2018!
The St Paddy's Day Purgatory is suitable for leprechauns of all ages and abilities (wheelchair/pram friendly route). There will be plenty of cheer from the crowds to get you on your way. A warm up to loosen those limbs will take place at the start, plus lots of other folk to trot, dance or prance the pavements with. There's a goody bag for every entrant, plus a medal and cake & candy when you get to the finish.
