The first Sussex Living Marathon Weekend saw over 1100 runners taking part in the three different races - and around 250 on each day were entrants to all three races.
The weekend was a huge success despite the efforts of the weather and the feedback from those who took part was excellent.
The event returns in 2013 to see another three different races on three days over the Bank Holiday weekend. The three races combined add up to 26.2 miles - the classic 26.2 miles marathon distance.
New for 2103. A new course for the Burgess Hill 10K, including a town centre start and finish; plus a revised Haywards Heath course including town centre start and Victoria Park finish.
Races can be entered individually or as a three race series.
Participants completing all three races will receive a special Sussex Living Marathon Weekend medal.
The three races are:
East Grinstead 10 Mile - Saturday 4th May
Haywards Heath 10 Mile – Sunday May 5th 2012
Burgess Hill 10K – Monday May 6th 2012
All three races are staged using the pathways, trails and footpaths in the beautiful Mid Sussex countryside.
