This event is organised by the Clapham Chasers Running Club and has been done for the past 3 years. It is the perfect preparation for those training for a spring marathon. The best thing about this event is that runners can choose to race it or run with a designated pacer.
A flat, traffic free, 20 mile run with pacers, along the River Thames Towpath on Sunday 4th March 2012.
From Bishop's Park, runners will cross Putney Bridge and follow a 10 mile course along the River Thames out and back to Richmond. The course will be measured and there will be mile markers at each mile point. In the event of unexpected last minute towpath maintenance work, there may be short diversions to the route which we will mark out well and adjust the course accordingly.
