The Abbots Langley event returns again in 2018 for the 36th year. The 1K Park Run course takes you around the pretty villages Abbots Langley, Bedmond, and Kings Langley.
The race aims to raise funds for local charities and beneficiaries. Over the years the event has provided specialised equipment for the less mobile in the form of hoists, beds, wheelchairs, and tricycles as well as assisting local schools with special projects and individual beneficiaries to improve their quality of life.
If you know of any local individuals or an organisation that wishes to be considered for support from the Tough Ten funds you can contact them via the race website click here
The race is suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike and with the option of either 10K, 5K, 3K, and 1K races, so there are events for all the family!
There is ample free parking in Abbots Langley, but we would recommend to car share or use public transport as to not overburden the local resources.
Refreshments will be available at the Community Centre in Abbots Langley and also at Abbots Langley Cricket Club. Baggage can be left at the Community Centre, but all items are left at the owner’s risk.
There will be chip timing for the 10K, 5K, and 3K races.
Race start times;
10K - 10.30 am
5K & 3K - 10.00 am
1K - 9.30 am
Supervised bag storage
