This popular 10K race returns for the ninth year and is organised by Nice Work on behalf of the Romney Marsh Rotary Club.
The race is now firmly established on the Kent running calendar and is considered a 'must do' race. The race always guarantees great feedback.
The course is pancake flat and is perfect for those looking to establish PB's - but is suitable for runners of all abilities, from seasoned athletes to beginners, with those new to running made particularly welcome.
The race includes chip timing.
The course uses the flat tarmac country lanes around the pretty Kent town of New Romney.
The race carries a £50 cash prize for the first man and first lady plus there are awards and prizes for leading runners - all finishers will receive a race memento.
The race is held under UK Athletic Rules. The race also carries a certificate of course accuracy.
This year’s event once again features The Romney Marsh Wheelchair 10K, which will start roughly 10 minutes before the main 10K race. There is also a Children’s Race which will take place at 9:45 am.
