Dates: Saturday 4th May 2019 to Monday 6th May 2019
After a record year in 2018, when over 1500 runners took part in the three days. The weekend returns for the eighth time in 2019. Using undulating roads, trails and pathways in and around Mid Sussex, the races are run over mainly traffic free routes. Would suit runners of all standards including those new to 10 mile races. Overall series prizes for those completing all 26.2 miles over the three races.
Races can be entered individually or as a three-race series.
Participants completing all three races will receive a special Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend medal and technical t-shirt.
The three races are:
Saturday 4th May 2019 - Mid Sussex East Grinstead 10 Mile
Sunday 5th May 2019 - Mid Sussex Haywards Heath 10 Mile
Monday 6th May 2019 - Mid Sussex Burgess Hill 10K
All three races are staged using the roads, pathways, trails and footpaths in the beautiful Mid Sussex countryside.
Each race also features the Mid Sussex Mile - a chip timed 1 mile race for both junior runners and adults. Ideally suited to those new to running.
Also includes The Mid Sussex Fun Run ideally suited for families.
All three races held under UKA Rules. Licences applied for.
You might not want to rush this event!! Three gloriously scenic races using courses in and around the stunning Mid Sussex countryside, using mainly traffic free routes. Would suit runners of all standards. Times in each race count towards overall series prizes for those completing all 26.2 miles over the three races.
Medals to all finishers plus finish line goodies in each race - and there will be other events, attractions and entertainment throughout the weekend at all three races.
