Race full. Voted one of Britain's top 20 races in 2009. A classically simple and challenging course, from the Nower in Dorking via Westcott and Wolvens Lane to the Plough at Coldharbour and then to the top of South East England's highest point, Leith Hill - and then, following the Greensand Way, taking in the summits of Somerset Hill, Holmbury Hill, Pitch Hill, Reyards Hill and Winterfold Hill (and back). Off-road, muddy, lumpy, challenging. Should benefit from stunning autumn colours. Around 5200 feet of ascent and descent - ie a vertical mile. One of the Trionium race series.
STRICT time limit to gain Leith Hill Tower for the first time (at the quarter way point, ie 6.55 miles) of 1:15. All lagards will be turned back, to complete the half marathon distance (no shame in that). See click here for terms and conditions.
