Enter Sister Act - The Nuns Run 2011 and you could run away with more than just your race entry.
Sister Act is going on the road and will be playing at regional theatres around the country this autumn. To celebrate we have this fabulous opportunity to win tickets to see the show in your area.
We're offering 100 runners (who enter the race before June 30) the chance to bag a pair of tickets to watch the national tour of the musical Sister Act. Winners will be able to enjoy the show at the nearest eligible theatre of their choice.
The race was launched in 2009 by 2:09 Events (together with the producers of Sister Act) and raised £30,000 for Barnardo's that year. Now, we're delighted to welcome the Nuns Run back to the streets of the capital on September 11, 2011.
Don your very own habit before joining a crowd of nuns to dash around the heart of the City of London. The single-lap race follows four miles of pathways from City Hall over Tower Bridge, and picks up the Thames Path along the South Bank past the Tate Modern and the Globe before crossing back over Blackfriars Bridge.
This novel event is the idea of the producers of the West End musical Sister Act to coincide with the launch of the National Tour and in conjunction with London Round Table in aid of Children's Wish.
