My first worst moment was tripping over another runner's legs and falling to the ground when going for a water station at 22 miles.
The next worst moment was being led to a St John's ambulance for a check-up and being put on oxygen.
THE worst moment was the doctor's reaction when I told him I still wanted to go on.
THE best moment was resuming the race having persuaded the St John's crew about an hour after my fall that I would be ok.
My goal was 3:45. I finished in 5:31!
Next time I would go off much, much slower and not weave unless I absolutely had to. The key to me finishing was sheer bloody-mindedness!
Will be celebrating by making the next couple of weeks as unhealthy as one can possibly imagine!!
