Have you signed up to #RunSwansea yet? The flat and fast JCP Swansea Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 26th June 2016 on fully closed roads and is one of the fastest growing races in the UK, organised by runners for runners.
Starting and finishing in the city centre, the flat, fast route takes runners along Swansea Bay to The Mumbles and back, boasting six miles of stunning coastline, beautiful views and fantastic crowd support.
The JCP Swansea Half Marathon sees fast times and the current course records are held by Commonwealth and Team GB athlete Dewi Griffiths (1:06:48) and Emma Wookey (1:17:51).
The race has been increasing in size and popularity since the inaugural event in 2014, with entries sold out in 2014 and 2015. The JCP Swansea Half Marathon was a finalist at The 2015 Running Awards for the UK’s Best Half Marathon and is quickly establishing itself as a must do event.
