Kenya’s Mary Keitany led the elite female group. Keitany stormed home in 2:19:19, setting the fourth fastest women’s marathon of all time

The men's elite runners pass in a closer pack, with the eventual winner Kenyan Emmaunel Mutai at the front. He ran a superb race, setting a new course record of 2:04.40
