Les 50K de la Côte des LégendesMonth May
Location Ploudalmézeau (Brittany) near Brest
Distance 50K, 18K option also available
Why do it As we know, theres no such thing as a free lunch, and that certainly applies here where, to enjoy the post-race feast, you have to first run 50K. It may seem a little odd to prolong the agony of the marathon just a few more kilometres, but the French like their numbers round. But if ever a races scenery can make the miles fly by, this is it. Breathtaking vistas over the Brittany coastline, with its white beaches and rolling dunes, its chateaux, stone churches and fishing ports, give the race an ambience all its own. This is an out-and-back race, mostly on road, taking in two loops (18K and 32K), that by the finish will be firmly engraved in your memory, not to mention your legs. One of the grandest, most beautiful and best races that France has to offer.
Field 800 last year
