Absolute Running Gosport 5K Summer Series

Tuesday 8th September, Gosport, Hampshire

Located on the Hampshire coast, this 7pm promenade dash is perfect for a wind down after work. The flat course is a great first race for new runners, and caters for all ages with a children’s 1K sprint before the race. All finishers receive a medal too.

The 10th Anniversary Rye Summer Classic Series 5K

Friday 11th September, Rye, East Sussex

Those in search of a PB, look no further. This out and back course over the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is flat and, weather permitting, extremely fast. With the reward of a lovely summer’s evening in Rye once the hard work is done, this race is a fantastic way to start a weekend break.

Alderton 5K Run

Saturday 12th September, Alderton, Gloucestershire

This is a picturesque course winding through the quiet country lanes of Alderton and Great Washbourne. It’s a family-friendly event offering entertainment and activities for the children, plus 100% of the proceeds will be going to Alderton Acorns Preschool and Toddler Group. If that isn’t enough, the course is fast and flat too - what’s not to love?

Sunday 20th September, Rochdale

Starting and finishing on the track at Kingsway Park Sports Centre, this race provides brilliant spectator facilities to give you that extra push. This scenic race winds around the Rochdale Kingsway development and, with a children’s race and 10K on offer too, it has something for every runner.

Yarrow River Trail Run

Monday 21st September, Chorley

If a trail run is more your cup of tea, then this is the event for you. Beginning in Yarrow Valley Country Park, the route closely follows and crosses the River Yarrow giving you some challenging terrain to negotiate. Much of the proceeds go to the British Heart Foundation too, so go and test yourself for a good cause.
