Birmingham and Black Country Half Marathon

Saturday 4th July, Wolverhampton and Birmingham

This point-to-point half goes from Wolverhampton to Birmingham city centre along the canal towpaths. Complete with floating drinks stations on barges, this is a unique event which will see runners finish at Brindley Place, just a short distance from the Bullring and plenty of bars for a post-run tipple.

Surrey Badger Half Marathon

Sunday 12th July, Dorking

Starting in the lush green surroundings of Denbies Wine Estate, the Surrey Badger Half Marathon takes a stunning route through Norbury Park and past the Saw Mill. Your hard work will be rewarded with a beer at the finish line, or you can take things easy with their 2.5K fun run.

Saturday Night Thames Trail Half Marathon

Saturday 25th July, Reading

Kicking off at 8pm, this out-and-back race will see runners head down the Thames Path on a (hopefully not too humid) summer’s evening. Participants will kit themselves out with a torch for enhanced visibility, with the aim of getting back before the 11pm cut-off point.

Piece of Cake Trail Half Marathon

Saturday 11th July, Shropshire

The words ‘piece of cake’ and ‘trail half marathon’ aren’t typically seen in the same sentence, but this event has its reasons. With a route leading through National Trust land, the hilly course is packed with rugged landscapes and striking views, all before you finish conveniently close to a café for tea and cake.

Sunday 5th July, Southport

This super-flat 13.1 is perfect for PB hunters. Starting in Victoria Park, the route heads out and back along the Southport coastline for an invigorating run. All competitors will receive a technical t-shirt, along with a medal, certificate and goodie bag.
