We're delighted to put our support behind the Chris Brasher Memorial 10K in London's Richmond Park on June 20. It should be a smashing day out in a glorious venue, all in memory of the single most influential figure in British running. Over a third of the entry price goes to charity, too.
Good weather is guaranteed*, and an RW forum picnic area is taking shape, with dozens of RW members in the race already. Bring a flan, and be ready to strike up conversation with a friendly stranger.
As Josie Jump says, "10K run then forum picnic and a good cause: couldn't be better :-)"
Need more persuasion? One lucky random entrant will win a pair of running shoes every year for the rest of their life! Sounds like just reward for the hell of running a glorious traffic-free summer 10K in one of the most beautiful parks in England, with indulgent feasts in the grass afterwards.
*They'll do their best...
