Aldi are launching a new fitness collection, with runners in mind

Whether you’re recovering from a spring marathon or gearing up for your first Parkrun, finding the right training gear is essential. That said, finding kit that doesn’t break the bank can be tricky.

Fear not, however, as supermarket Aldi are releasing their latest fitness collection, including plenty of running essentials. The range is available to pre-order online from Sunday 6th May, or in store from Sunday 13th May.

The range includes women’s sports bras from £6.99, men’s and women’s tights priced at £6.99, t-shirts and tanks from £5.99 and socks for £2.99. Alternatively, you can kit yourselves out in the entire range for under £40.

When it comes to recovery, Aldi are releasing two foam rollers to help you keep sore muscles at bay. The collection includes a regular foam roller for £5.99 and a vibrating foam roller priced at £34.99. A relatively new science, vibrating foam rollers are thought to intensify the foam rolling experience and this one is a third of the price of other alternatives on the market.

If you’re cross training in the pool, or looking for headphones that will survive the unpredictable English climate, Aldi’s range includes Waterproof MP3 Earphones for £29.99. The wireless, Bluetooth headphones are completely waterproof, with an impressive 8GB storage capacity and five hours music playback.

If working on your core without a gym membership is the goal, the range includes a range of dumbells and kettlebells from £9.99 and a protective fitness matt to avoid scuffing your kitchen floor.

As with all Aldi deals, you'll need to be quick to get your hands on the range before it sells out.
