Mountain Hardwear launch running apparel line Way2Cool

Developed with elite athletes and tested in the Grand Canyon in the Rim2Rim2Rim challenge, Mountain Hardwear launch their first running specific running tops featuring "fabric technology that uses the wearers' sweat to activate in-built cooling agents".

This fabric, that they are calling 'Cool.Q.Zero' has apparently been developed to revolutionise the sportswear industry and works due to hundreds of tiny rings embedded in the fabric and using materials from industrial water filtration processes to ensure excess moisture is ‘sucked’ away from the body.

The rings, which contain a cooling agent, react to sweat and moisture causing them to suck and swell to create an instant and prolonged cooling effect on the skin.

All sounds very interesting, we should be able to offer you more of an insight when we've tested them.
