Full review: Air Storm Moto £75

The Air Storm Moto sees Nike ‘winterise’ another of its big-selling Bowerman shoes – the Air Max Moto. It’s basically the same shoe – a plushly cushioned, responsive and stable everyday trainer – but with a water resistant Clima-Fit upper and added ‘sticky’ rubber lugs on the outsole for extra grip in wet conditions. If you really can’t stand damp feet when you run, then it could be the shoe for you. The Clima-Fit fabric, though, means the upper feels much stiffer than the normal shoe, and also means that feet tend to get much warmer than normal – unless it’s really cold. And don’t think it’s an off-road shoe, as the outsole pattern is actually exactly the same as the Air Max Moto.
