Full review: Inov8 Terroc 330 £65

Evaluation While Inov8’s Mudroc models are among the best examples of extreme off-road shoes – where grip is the most important consideration – they aren’t exactly ideal for long, lazy runs in the trails. Having realised this, Inov8 has introduced two new models – the Terroc 330 and Flyroc 310 – for longer multi-terrain efforts.
The Terroc has a thicker midsole and a less aggressively lugged outsole than the Mudroc. Built on a slightly wider last than its stablemates, the Terroc should prove a little more supportive – especially in the rearfoot, an area where some wearers have commented that the Mudroc could be improved.
We only have early test reports, but initial comments were that the cushioning isn’t exceptional and the Terroc is best for runs that are completely off-road. But forefoot grip in particular received high praise.
In short The Terroc is a nice addition to the Inov8 range. It’s not as grippy or responsive as the Mudroc, but it feels more stable and is a more enjoyable companion for long runs.
