Evaluation We bet you didn’t know you needed a pair of these beauties. (We also bet you won’t be able to find them in many running shops near you.) They’re sprinters’ training shoes, for those days when you need to do 8 x 200m on a track but can’t bear the thought of spikes. They’re featherlight, they have a lovely suede inner for wearing with no socks, an adjustable strap for supporting your midfoot, and knobbly tread that is angled to give you the best grip when you’re hammering round a curve. The inside of the shoe says ‘Engineered to harness the power of the curve. Designed specifically for power-based sprinters’, so the chances are that not many of our readers or writers really need them. But, still, they’d make a good ironic gift for your lazy friend.
