Today launches the arrival of the new Nike Pegasus 35 running shoes, meaning it’s a good time to grab the 34’s, as Nike slash the prices on their website.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 is, in the words of Runner’s World’s Andrew Daswon, “like a wine that keeps getting better with age”. A neutral running shoe, it’s a good choice for beginners and marathon runners alike.
Any shoe that is in its 35th year of creation is bound to be a trustworthy choice, and Nike have spent years working on their Pegasus model. Introduced in 1983, Nike intended the shoe to be for every runner, designed to be half air (similar to the Pegasus it’s named after), representing movement, quickness and the allure of flying.
In its 35 years of life, its undergone some major changes and is now worn by the likes of Eliud Kipchoge and Sir Mo Farah. It’s Nike’s all-time best-selling shoe, and you can now save money on the Pegasus 34 – reduced to £72.97 on nike.com.
Still available in most sizes, grab them while you can.
