How to enter the London Marathon 2019

The public ballot for the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon opens on Monday 30th April 2018 and closes at 5pm on Friday 4th May 2018. The ballot is open for five days to allow everyone a fair chance to enter. You’ll be able to find out more, and enter the ballot on 30th April on the London Marathon website. The ballot results are announced in October.

When is the London Marathon 2019?

The next London Marathon will be on Sunday 28th April 2019. 

How much does it cost to enter the London Marathon 2019 ballot?

All applicants who have been successful in the ballot and offered a provisional place will be sent a link to pay the entry fee. In 2018, standard entry was £39, or £35 if you are a member of a UK-affiliated running club. Overseas entry costs £80.

How to I enter the London Marathon 2019 as a Good for Age runner?

The Good for Age entries have changed for the 2019 London Marathon to ensure there is a closer ration of applications from men and women. For 2019, the Good for Age entries will be capped at 6,000 places – 3,000 for men and 3,000 for women. Unlike previous years, meeting the qualifying time for your age does not guarantee entry into the race. The qualifying period has also been extended to one year and seven months. How to enter the Brighton Marathon 2019

Entries are now open to the Brighton Marathon 2019. The entries opened on Sunday 15th April 2018 at 6pm and are limited to 11,000 places. Places are allocated to runners on a first come, first served basis and are expected to sell out quickly. You can register for the Brighton Marathon 2019 here. 

When is the Brighton Marathon 2019?

The 2019 Brighton Marathon will take place on Sunday 14th April 2019.

How much does it cost to enter the Brighton Marathon 2019?

Entry to the 2019 Brighton Marathon costs £65.

How to enter the Manchester Marathon 2019

Deemed “the flattest, fastest and friendliest UK marathon” you can already sign up to the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon 2019. Only 5,000 places have initially been released and are available on a first come, first served basis.  

When is the Manchester Marathon 2019?

The race will be held on Sunday 7th April 2019.

How much does it cost to enter the Manchester Marathon 2019?

Standard entry to the 2019 race costs £45, UKA affiliated athletes receive a discounted entry fee of £43.


How to enter the Paris Marathon 2019

Entry to the 43rd Paris Marathon is open now until Monday 30th April 2018. The first wave of registrations is limited to 15,000 bibs and entries are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. After this, entries will re-open on 4th September 2018.  

When is the Paris Marathon 2019?

The Paris Marathon 2019 will take place on Sunday 14th April 2019.

How much does it cost to enter the Paris Marathon 2019?

Standard entry is currently a discounted €89, this will increase to €109 after 30th April 2018.


How to enter the Rome Marathon 2019

Mostly flat, the start and finish of the Rome Marathon is on cobblestone. The course starts near the Coliseum and passes plenty of spectacular sights on the way. Find out about entry to the Rome Marathon 2019 here.

The 2019 Rome Marathon will take place on Sunday 7th April 2019.
