Saucony UK ambassador and celebrity PT Stuart Amory is attempting to run 50km a day for 17 days to tackle the stigma against mental health, and encourage more men to talk about their wellbeing.
Amory is running from London to Scotland as part of the #TheRunOfGratitude project supported by Up and Running. He has openly spoken about mental health and the issues he has struggled with in the past, completing an Ironman Triathlon and 138 miles in 5 days in the past.
The dad of two is taking on his next challenge in aid of the charity Mind, ‘to show gratitude for the things he has in life that we too often take for granted; his physical health, the support of his friends and family and a successful career.’
Through his fundraising, Amory is trying to lift the stigma about mental health, whilst spreading awareness of the different illnesses that can occur and encouraging more men to open up about their own struggles.
Stuart is an ambassador for Saucony UK.
