Have you ever wondered how you compare to other runners?
You might know your place in a marathon or where you stack up in your running club, but who are those strangers ahead of you and behind you?
Ten years ago, we conducted a comprehensive study, asking our readers about their running preferences. Our pack has grown and evolved a lot since then, and so we're asking again: what is it like to be a runner in the UK in 2016?
We know the running community is made up of all different types of athletes—young, old, beginning, advanced, speedy and slow.
But we want to know more. How many of us have run a marathon? Are some regions faster than others? How many people are logging more than 40 miles per week?
Times and training are interesting, but tastes and habits are fun too. What do you think about wearting shorts over tights? Are you a gel warrior or do you just stick to water? Do all of us listen to music or do you hate running with headphones?
Help us paint a picture of the UK running community. Our survey takes about five minutes to complete.
