As soon as you put the Compression Mock top on it perfectly shapes to the contours of your body, keeping a tight (but not uncomfortably tight) fit, even after a few washes. The fabric is smooth and soft, with a brushback knit to trap heat more effectively and maintain your core temperature. The fabric also uses a ‘moisture transport system’ to push sweat away from your body to the surface of your gear, meaning the fabric will dry faster.
After a long and tough run the top didn’t absorb much sweat. Even though I used it as a bottom layer it didn’t feel cold or heavy against my skin. It’s a good long length too, with a grippy bottom hem so you don’t need to worry about it riding up mid-run. Overall it’s a great essential wardrobe piece for cold winter runs outside.
